Water2REturn was presented in ECOMONDO 2018
From November 6 to 9 the ECOMONDO 2018 took place in Rimi, Italy where the Water2REturn project was hosted by the EASME (Executive Agency for SMEs) stand like one of the best practice projects.
During the days of the event, a lot of visitors, companies and stakeholders visited the stand and asked for specific information regarding the W2R project. The main scope of 2018 edition was focused on circular economy, and in this direction, the results of W2R created strong interest around the scientific community and general stakeholders.
The event allowed creating interesting connections with wastewater treatment sectors, in particular with the food industries and slaughterhouses, and to explain better the benefit that Water2REturn offers in terms of nutrient and water recovery. Most of them showed their interest in visiting the DEMO site when it will be ready.
Be part of the EASME stand, for sure, has been very interesting for the visibility of W2R project, and has also allowed to connect with others H2020 projects to create future cooperations on the same thematic area.
Furthtermore, there was a section about water management: GLOBAL WATER EXPO.
