Water2Return was presented at a Symposium on Algae in Circular Economy in Ljubljana
Algen and the Ljubljana University organized a symposium about algae in Circular Economy on June 7th in Ljubljana where they presented the Water2Return and its innovation technology.
The meeting was attended by 50 people such as scientific community, industry, investors, policy makers or general public. The main objetives of this symposium were:
- To present the Water2Return project to wider community, especially to reach the industry and potential investors.
- To present algae technologies and W2R concept as innovative solutions for food industry and agriculture.
- To present preliminary results with biostimulant form microalgae in agriculture.
The meeting started with an opening ceremony in the Biotechnicl Faculty of the Ljublhana University where Robert Reinhardt (ALGEN) and Rok Mihelic (University of Ljubljana) explained the project and the operation of their technology applied to the algae line.
After this, the attendees visited the Demo Centre at University of Ljubljana where they were impressed and someones saw the microalgae production facilities for the first time.
